Similar to last month, the MSCI Metals activity report for the month of November, 2022 again shows only US steel shipments increasing from year-ago levels. All other shipments in the US and Canada continued below year-ago levels. U.S. Service Center Activity – U.S. service center steel shipments in November, 2022 increased by 1.3% from November, 2021. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 4.2% from the same month in 2021. Canadian Service Center Activity – Canadian service center steel shipments in November, 2022 decreased by 1.9% from November 2021. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 4.6% from the same month in 2021.
