MSCI Metals Activity Report for the month of January, 2023 shows US and Canadian metal shipments increasing from year-ago levels. U.S. Service Center Activity – U.S. service center steel shipments in January, 2023 increased by 7.4% from January, 2022. Shipments of aluminum products increased by 0.1% from the same month in 2022. Canadian Service Center Activity – Canadian service center steel shipments in January, 2023 increased by 4.1% from January 2022. Shipments of aluminum products increased by 0.5% from the same month in 2022.
