Retail Sales – Advanced Estimates (12-15-21)

(12-15-21) The U.S. Census Bureau announced the following advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for November 2021: Advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for November 2021, adjusted for seasonal variation and holiday and trading-day differences, but not for price changes, were $639.8 billion, an increase of 0.3 percent (±0.5 percent)* from the previous month, and 18.2 percent (±0.9 percent) above November 2020. Total sales for the September 2021 through November 2021 period were up 16.2 percent (±0.7 percent) from the same period a year ago. The September 2021 to October 2021 percent change was revised from up 1.7 percent (±0.5 percent) to up 1.8 percent (±0.2 percent). Retail trade sales were up 0.2 percent (±0.4 percent)* from October 2021, and up 16.1 percent (±0.7 percent) above last year. Gasoline stations were up 52.3 percent (±1.6 percent) from November 2020, while food services and drinking places were up 37.4 percent (±3.9 percent) from last year.

Pipe Exchange LLC (“Pipe Exchange,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) respects your privacy. Personal Information that Pipe Exchange collects

In the course of signing up for the Pipe Exchange e-publication and/or contacting Pipe Exchange via the “Contact Us” section of the Website, you may choose to provide personal information (e.g., your name, phone number, email address, etc.). We will explicitly indicate the fields designated for mandatory completion. If you do not enter the requisite data in the mandatory fields, you will not be able to receive the e-publication and/or complete the relevant contact form.  It’s important that you understand there is no requirement by law for you to provide Pipe Exchange with your personal details – the information you share with us is entirely voluntary.

Children’s Online Privacy Information

Pipe Exchange does not knowingly collect personal information from minors who are under the age of 16 through the Website and/or the Services thereon. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personally identifiable information without his/her consent, then he or she should contact Pipe Exchange at the information described below. If we become aware that a child under the age of 16 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete such information from our files. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
