This is the 26th consecutive month of overall price de-creases. Domestic prices dropped by 2.1% and import prices fell by 1.8%. The domestic all sizes ERW average price dropped by 3.1pc to $1,748/st. The all sizes seamless average price decreased by 1.5% to $3,382/st. The import all sizes ERW average price fell by 1.3% to $1,419/st, while the imported seamless average pipe prices dropped by 2% to $2,607/st. Distributor’s sentiment rose by four points compared to June to 39, the first time since March sentiment has in-creased. The price outlook rose by four points to a negative reading of 21, after last month’s reading that was the lowest since June 2023. Oil prices were flat in June compared to the prior month, while natural gas prices jumped by 16%. Hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices fell by 6.1% sequentially in June. The average North American drilling rig count for June fell by 14 to 588 compared to the prior month.
